Odor Control

In the United States, the largest existing market for ozone systems is odor control. Much of this market is in sewage treatment plants. Industrial markets for ozone in odor control are smaller than for sewage treatment plants. Established applications include cooking odors at restaurants; pharmaceutical fermentations; fish, meat, and food processing; plastics and rubber processing; paint and varnish manufacture; and rendering plants. Nearly all of these industrial odor control applications use less than 100 lb/day of ozone and most use between 1 - 25 lb/day.
